# 5 Death Treats To Child Star

Mia Talerico
My last post shows the Disney show "Good Luck Charlie" and they introduced the first gay couple on Disney.
There have been death treats towards Mia Talerico, the five-year-old actress who plays Charlie. There were death treats commented onto her Instagram.

One suspect sent photos of the girls head with a bloody fist on it saying, "Yes, kill you stupid b**ch"
However, The LAPD’s Threat Management Unit became involved to track down these treats and to protect the little girl.

The thing that truly blows my mind is that death treats... are sent to a five-year-old...seriously?! What kind of human being  would send death treats to a little girl, let alone anyone? I am personally disgusted by this. I just can't wrap this around my head that people are actually doing this to a child. No one deserves that. But this little girl is taking these threats because of one episode showing a lesbian couple.

If you would like to read more about this here is the article:

  1. Wow! What an awful thing to consider that someone would threaten the life of a 5 year old child. It's one inexcusable thing to threaten an adult, but a child...that is just plain despicable. I find it ironic that, according to the article, it is the conservatives that are threatening the child because they feel the show is a danger to the sanctity of the family. Well what kind of message are you sending...how are you promoting the sanctity of the family...by threatening the life of a child?! Honestly, the child probably doesn't even know what the episode meant. And what do the homophobic individuals believe...that they can just shelter their children from gay people for their whole lives? Are they that afraid that exposer to homosexuals in an accepting context will corrupt their children? So then being accepting and loving of all of God's children is actually corruption? This is such an illogical thing for individuals to do, and quite frankly it is disgusting behavior. One is allowed to have their own beliefs and values, but to attempt to impose them upon a society...or a little innocent girl...that is not acceptable behavior.

  2. #2 This is probably the most pathetic thing I have ever seen or heard about in my 17 years of life. It makes me so incredibly sad to know that this happens today. Not only the homophobia, but also the animalistic, corrupt and unforgiving nature of most people in the world. To go to this extent is unacceptable and nauseating; this poor girl has done NOTHING wrong and she is made out by closed-minded individuals to be some sort of criminal by allowing others to be treated the way they have a right to be treated. I hope one day articles like this no longer need to be written and everyone can grow up enough to accept one another!
