#4 Disney Introduces First Gay Couple

On the Disney should, Good Luck Charlie, the FIRST gay couple is introduced. The little girl Charlie has a friend coming over, and once her friend shows up, two women come up to the door and introduce themselves as the little girls mothers.

The reaction of the actors in the show had no real care about the homosexual couple. The little girl Charlie just wanted to play with this other girl. Charlie did not even realize that the girl has two moms. It doesn't matter.
I believe that because of this episode, more shows on t.v. will show more homosexuals and their spouse.
Maybe soon there will be a gay princess.

#3 Love Is Love

In this talk by Andrew Solomons, he talks about how homosexuality is not a mental health problem. The person did not choose to be a homosexual just like the people who are deaf, blind, have autism, etc. No one chose to have that life. To be different than the rest of society. He even says that a blind child can be born by both parents who can see. A deaf child being born by parents who can hear. Just how a gay child can be born by parents who are both straight.
He talks about how each new president coming into office becomes a closer supporter of gay marriage. Which is causing riots and violence.  No one can control who they fall in love with.
Homosexuals are just like any other human being, who deserves the same rights as any straight human.
That people who are homosexual cannot control loving the same sex. This is not something that any human can control. Just like how we cannot control the color of our skin. We are born the way we are, and every human should have the same equal rights that anyone else has. It does not matter who you love, what color you are, religion, mental or physical state, education level, earnings, ANYTHING. Because we all share this plant together. We are in control. We only  have each other.

Love is love.
We are born the way we are
There is nothing we can do about it.

#2 Westboro Baptist Church Protesting School For A PLay

Many people know of the Westboro Baptitist Church because of the picketing they held outside a soldiers funeral who was gay. They are mostly know for their anti- gay remarks, signs, and protests.
However, they will be taking this anti-gay hate to Granite Bay High School because of their production of "The Laramie Project". Many people are unaware of what this play is truly about. It is about a boy named Matthew Shepard. He was beaten to death and targeted just for being gay.
This play will also be showing scenes representing the Westboro Baptitist Church during the 1988 hate-crime of Matthew Shepard.
They will be protesting in Northern California this week.

Main Idea

The main idea of this blog is to express how society all over the world views homosexuality. I will also express my own opinion of the topic through out my future posts. Many parts of the world ban homosexuality. There are riots, people being beaten by government authority, etc. However, there are some places that are coming around to accepting of those who are homosexual. Some also support gay marriage.
To wrap this all up, I will keep almost an update regularly on what is going on in the world involving homosexuality.
